Alpha Phi Intramurals 2008
One of the benefits of going Greek at the University of Maine is the opportunity to play Greek intramurals. Sororities and fraternities compete amongst themselves in basketball, volleyball, swimming, track, flag football, field hockey, soccer - whatever events the Greeks show an interest in! Every chapter has an Intramural Chair who coordinates their game schedule and encourages members to participate. Today i attended my sorority's intramural basketball game and it was great to see Greeks coming together for a little friendly competition. Next time you are at the Rec Center or Field House on the UMaine campus, take a look around, you may catch a Greek intramural game!
